Im in the sysadmin role on the server in question, yet when I connect I see a white circle on both the instance level and SQL Agent nodes. Ive seen this before, but dont recall what I did to fix it on other machines. I believe it has something to do with the "Remote Admin" firewall setting. Does this sound right?
I can see jobs listed under SQL Agent, but im wondering what features I will not be able to do (from SSMS) unless this is resolved?
