Restrict access to server but allow backup

I'm migrating a stand-alone SQL server 2008 R2 to a cluster.  I will use an enterprise backup solution to backup all databases on the stand-alone and restore on the cluster instance.  I want a clean backup, so how can I restrict end user access to the stand-alone instance, but still allow the backup application to back it up.?  Thanks.
